Spain knows racket sports. It has built some of the finest tennis academies in Europe, produced world champions, and embraced padel with an enthusiasm that has turned the country into the sport's global epicentre. But pickleball? That conversation hasn’t really happened, has it?

It hasn't arrived with fanfare. There are no billboard campaigns, no packed stadiums, no mainstream television coverage. What there is instead is something more interesting: a quiet, movement happening resort by resort, court by court, in some of the most beautiful corners of the country. Resorts that understand sport, that already know how to build infrastructure and serve active guests, are adding pickleball to their offer. And often, they're not shouting about it.
